VERIFIED Crypto Checkout is software infrastructure only.
VERIFIED Credit Card Processing LLC (“VERIFIED”, “Company”) does not act as a bank, money transmitter, payment processor, or cryptocurrency exchange and does not custody, transmit, or settle funds.

By enabling or using VERIFIED Crypto Checkout, merchants acknowledge and accept the following risks.


1. Third-Party Provider Risk

  • Customers are redirected to independent provider-hosted checkout pages.
  • Providers may require identity verification (KYC), AML screening, or compliance review.
  • Providers may decline, delay, freeze, or reverse transactions at their sole discretion.
  • Provider availability, supported payment methods, fees, and regions may change at any time without notice.
  • Providers may suspend or terminate service to merchants or customers.
  • Provider insolvency or operational failure may impact settlement.

VERIFIED does not control and is not responsible for provider decisions or policies.


2. Blockchain & Smart Contract Risk

  • Blockchain networks may experience congestion, delays, reorgs, or outages.
  • Gas fees and confirmation times may fluctuate.
  • Smart contract vulnerabilities may exist in third-party systems.
  • Cross-chain bridges, APIs, or routing systems may fail.

Settlement timing depends on third-party provider confirmation and blockchain conditions. VERIFIED does not guarantee timing of settlement.


3. Stablecoin & Digital Asset Risk

  • Stablecoins such as USDC may experience de-pegging events.
  • Issuers may freeze or blacklist wallet addresses.
  • Regulatory changes may affect stablecoin usability.

Merchants assume full risk of holding digital assets.


4. Wallet Risk

  • Settlement is sent to the merchant’s configured USDC (Polygon) wallet.
  • Incorrect wallet configuration may result in irreversible loss of funds.
  • Private key compromise may result in permanent loss.

Wallet security and key management are solely the merchant’s responsibility.


5. Regulatory & Legal Risk

  • Laws governing cryptocurrency and payment services may change.
  • Regulators may reclassify certain activities.
  • Sanctions laws or export regulations may restrict usage.
  • Tax treatment of digital assets may change.

Merchants are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws in their jurisdiction.


6. Fee & Pricing Risk

  • Third-party provider fees may change without notice.
  • Blockchain network costs may fluctuate.
  • Improper merchant pricing decisions may impact profitability.

7. White-Labeled & Third-Party Component Risk

The Software integrates APIs, white-labeled components, open-source libraries, and hosted systems not developed or fully controlled by VERIFIED.

  • Upstream code errors may occur.
  • External service outages may affect functionality.
  • Third-party API changes may impact performance.

VERIFIED is not responsible for failures arising from third-party systems.


8. Affiliate & Commission Allocation Risk

Transaction values may be used for infrastructure fee calculation and affiliate commission distribution.
Delays or disputes related to affiliate allocations may occur.


9. Cybersecurity Risk

  • Cyberattacks may target providers, blockchain networks, or merchant systems.
  • Merchants are responsible for securing their WordPress installation and hosting environment.

10. No Guarantees

VERIFIED makes no guarantees regarding:

  • Provider approval rates
  • Transaction success rates
  • Settlement timing
  • System uptime
  • Regulatory compliance outcomes

11. Assumption of Risk

By using the Software, merchants acknowledge that cryptocurrency and third-party payment integration involve inherent risks.
Company assumes no responsibility for losses arising from the risks described above.
