VERIFIED Crypto Checkout is a product of VERIFIED Credit Card Processing (“VERIFIED”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the VERIFIED Crypto Checkout WooCommerce plugin and any related services
(collectively, the “Service”).
1. Service Overview
The Service enables WooCommerce merchants to offer customers card-based checkout options (and other methods where supported)
through integrated third-party payment providers. Customers complete payment on the selected provider’s hosted checkout experience.
Your site does not collect or store customer card details through this plugin.
2. Redirected Checkout, Verification, and KYC
Customers are redirected off-site to a third-party provider-hosted checkout to complete payment and may be required to complete
verification steps such as email/SMS codes and/or identity verification (KYC), depending on the provider, jurisdiction, and transaction.
After successful payment, the customer is returned to your store and the WooCommerce order status updates automatically.
3. Settlement (USDC on Polygon)
Merchants receive settlement in USDC on the Polygon network to the wallet address configured in the plugin settings.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your wallet address and the security of your wallet and private keys.
4. VERIFIED Service Fee (4%)
VERIFIED charges a 4% service fee on each successful transaction processed using the Service.
This 4% service fee is deducted from settlement prior to payout to the merchant wallet. 3% is charged by VERIFIED Crypto Checkout and the other 1% is charged by the plugin developer to their wallet.
5. Provider Fees (Not Controlled by VERIFIED)
Customers may also be charged additional fees directly by the selected third-party payment provider (for example, processing,
conversion, network, or other provider fees). VERIFIED does not set, control, modify, or guarantee provider fees,
and provider fees may vary by provider, country, payment method, and transaction characteristics.
6. Third-Party Providers
The Service integrates with third-party payment providers. Providers operate independently and may change their features, fees,
coverage, verification requirements, and availability at any time. VERIFIED is not responsible for third-party provider outages,
policy changes, account restrictions, compliance actions, or fee changes.
7. Merchant Responsibilities and Compliance
You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations, including consumer protection, AML/KYC obligations
(if applicable to your business), tax obligations, and any restrictions applicable to your products/services in your jurisdiction.
VERIFIED does not provide legal, financial, or tax advice.
8. No Custody / No Banking Relationship
VERIFIED does not act as a bank and does not custody customer funds. Payments are completed via third-party providers and
settlement is delivered to the merchant’s wallet address as described above.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as-is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited
to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. VERIFIED does not guarantee transaction approval,
availability, or provider acceptance.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VERIFIED and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special,
consequential, or punitive damages. VERIFIED’s total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the
VERIFIED service fees collected for the specific transaction(s) giving rise to the claim.
11. Termination
VERIFIED may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time where we reasonably believe there is fraud, abuse,
security risk, or material legal/compliance risk.
12. Open Source Notice
This plugin includes components based on open-source software. Where required, those components are licensed under their
applicable open-source licenses. Your use of the plugin is also subject to those applicable open-source license terms.
